The Bouroullec brothers for Kvadrat

February 05, 2018

Since 1968, Kvadrat has been on the forefront of textile design and innovation. Their latest collaboration with French born and based designers, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, has led to a study of luminous curtains named: “Rennes” and “Chainette”. Developed as part of a range of curtains for Kvadrat exhibited at the Stockholm furniture fair, the curtains were translated from watercolour concept sketches into light embroidered textiles. Originally from Brittany, with a long history of embroidery, the brothers designed the curtains with embroidered edges and details.
