We recently came across the work of Melbourne based architecture firm, Kennedy Nolan. Established in 1999 by Patrick Kennedy and Rachel Nolan their portfolio spans from residential to educational, retail and hospitality projects. Influenced by Brutalist architecture as well as the arts and crafts movement, they state that it is the ”cultural sensitivity of the arts and crafts with the social optimism and technical empowerment of modernism”, that inspire them as a studio. Contemporary architecture, considered to the finest details making the spaces accessible and comfortable.
