Working on the Garden Café at the Newt in Somerset has been an exceptional experience. After working with the same client on the Wine Tasting Room at Babylonstoren we were delighted to be asked to work on the café at their new venture in Somerset, UK. The Garden Café overlooks a historic walled garden that has been transformed into a unique contemporary horticultural feast for the eyes.

We designed a system of coloured perforated steel panels that creates a backdrop and sets off against an eclectic mix of furniture, allowing the guests an uninterrupted view of the estate.
"The focus of the interior is the incredible views, so our work entailed designing a space that was full of detail and celebrated the wonderful minimal glass box we were working in."
